STI Chem-Clav®
A Continuous Feed Steam Sterilization / Destruction System
For Biohazardous Waste Including
Regulated Medical Waste, Infectious Waste and Clinical Waste

The push to maximize healthcare cost efficiency, coupled with the rising costs and problems associated with contract waste hauling and processing, is causing hospitals to take a serious look at the most efficient way to handle their regulated medical waste materials. Also due to the more stringent EPA Clean Air Act standards, hospitals must analyze the economic feasibility of adding air pollution control equipment to their existing incinerators.

In most cases, the conclusions drawn from these analysis point to the desire for economical, on-site processing. Hospitals that generate over 250,000 lbs per year of Regulated Medical Waste will benefit from looking carefully at this option.

The STI Chem-Clav® is one of the lowest cost alternative technologies when evaluated either for initial capital outlay or continued operating costs if the desired process residue must be sterile, and unusable.

Featuring the 300 lb/hr STI Chem-Clav®!

All Stainless Construction

Intigrated Cart Washer Included

Small Footprint

The STI Chem-Clav® has all the attributes and none of the drawbacks of existing products on the market. The first STI Chem-Clav® was installed in August of 1995 and has processed over 45,000,000 lbs of regulated medical waste, infectious waste, and clinical waste. The residue from the STI Chem-Clav® is sterile, generally classified as municipal waste, and ready for landfill deposition.
