WR2 small capacity Tissue Digestors are wheeled units that will fit through
a standard doorway. They are available with a cover for gas or vapor decontamination
of the unit.
The digestion solution is continuously circulated during the process
to ensure maximum exposure of the tissue to the solution. A built
in cooling system utilizes the same pathway as the heating jacket.

37 kg to 340 kg tissue capacities.

The WR2 Model 100-Series Medium Capacity Tissue Digestors are designed for
laboratories and institutions that need to dispose of biologic waste and animal
carcasses in the range of 37 to 2,500 kg per week. They are ideal for research
laboratories using animals as large as sheep, pigs, and goats. Also ideal for
hospital pathologic wastes.
Model 100-Series Medium Capacity Digestors are manufactured in six
standard capacities; ranging from 37 kg to 340 kg tissue load and
are movable frame-mounted units designed for temporary or permanent
installations. All vessels are steam heated and fully jacketed on
the straight side and the bottom of the vessel for optimum performance
and safety.
The digestion solution is continuously circulated during
the process to ensure maximum exposure of the tissue to the solution.
A built
in cooling system utilizes the same pathway as the heating jacket.
These units also feature a fully automated UMC control system,
load cell weighing and measuring, and diskette recording of cycle
parameters.

Sizes ranging from 682 kg tissue capacity to 3,200 kg tissue capacity.
Fully automated UMC (Universal Multiloop Controller) control system.
Ideal for all animals up to and including large horses, large cows, most zoo
animals, pathologic waste, and anatomic waste.
Ideal for veterinary schools, large pharmaceutical companies, large research
centers, university and medical school animal facilities, colleges of agriculture,
and government agencies.
Fully automated lid closure system. Available on 48" and standard on 72" and
96" Models.

The WR2 Model 100-Series Large Capacity Tissue Digestors are designed for laboratories
and institutions that need to dispose of biologic waste and animal carcasses
in the range of 3,500 to 75,000 kg per week. They are designed to dispose of
large volumes of large animals. They are ideal for research laboratories using
large numbers of sheep, pigs, and goats and for laboratories and institutions
needing to dispose of large numbers of large animals such as horses and cows.
Model 100-Series Large Capacity Digestors are manufactured in capacities
ranging from 682 kg to 3,200 kg tissue load and are stationary frame-mounted
units designed for permanent installation. They are usually installed
in a separate building or separate section of a building and are
installed such that the building foundation forms the boundary of
the diked containment area. They are available as free standing systems
for location within an existing building and feature complete frame
and catwalk substructures. A variety of animal / basket hoisting
systems are available. For BSL-3/4 applications, clean-side unloading
is available as an option. These systems are highly customizable
for specific customer needs. All vessels are steam heated and fully
jacketed on the straight side and the bottom of the vessel for optimum
performance and safety.
